Mukluks: Boots made of animal skin, usually seal or reindeer.
Parka: A heavy, hooded jacket.
Sleigh: a light vehicle on runners for travel on snow
constellation n. A set of fixed stars
Big Dipper: Ursa Major. Means the Great Bear in Latin. the Great Bear's tail is the handle of the Dipper and the Bear's flank is the Dipper's cup. The Big Dipper is an asterism visible in most of the northern hemisphere throughout the year.
North Star: Northern pole star. is a visible star whose apparent position is close to one of the Earth's axis of rotation.
Eskimo: Eskimo are indigenous peoples who have traditionally inhabited the circumpolar region of Alaska. Eskimo include 3 groups: Yupik, Inuit, and Aleut.
