Frog



Frogs are amphibians. They can live in both water and dry land area.

Frogs have long hind legs, a short body, webbed fingers or toes. frogs can call loudly. Their calls can be heard to a mile away

Frogs can jump very high. They can jump over over 2 meters.

Many frogs have mild toxins glands behind the eyes on the top of the head.

The life cycle of a frog starts with an egg. Eggs hatch and become tadpoles. Then transition into adult form.

There are more than 5,000 species of frogs that live in many areas (in black). The tropical rainforests have most species of frogs.
