Age of plants

The trunk of a tree can tell how old is the tree. Measure the circumference of the tree trunk, record this number. Divide the above measurement by 12 millimeters if this tree lives close to other trees, or divide the above measurement by 12 millimeters if this tree lives along, no other trees growing nearby.

So, for example, if you measure a tree trunk and get the circumference measurement of 200 millimeters, 200 / 25= 8, then this tree is about 8 years old alone. Or if this tree lives in a forest or wood, do 200 / 12= 16.333. This tree is around 16 years old.
